Before you start

Can our church keep its records in Philippine pesos?

Yes. This page suggests Philippines and PHP when you create your web account. Confirm your accounting currency at signup. Your transaction amounts and reports use that currency; they are not converted to dollars.

Is the subscription charged in Philippine pesos?

The web subscription has base prices in US dollars. Review the final currency and amount at checkout before paying. This is separate from the Philippine pesos used in your church records.

Can I record offerings received through GCash or a bank transfer?

You can record an offering and attach its payment confirmation. ContaIglesia does not connect to GCash or automatically import bank transfers. GCash is not currently offered as a subscription payment method.

Are the workspace and reports available in English?

Yes. Use the web workspace in English and choose English for your reports. You can invite people to the same church with individual accounts and permissions.

Are these BIR filings or official tax receipts?

No. ContaIglesia produces internal financial reports for your church and accountant to review. It does not file returns with the BIR or issue BIR-authorized tax receipts.

Do I have to pay to try it?

No. The trial lasts 14 days and requires no card. At the end, you decide whether to subscribe.

Can I use it for a project or ministry?

You can separate the accounts for a building project, ministry or campus and organize its transactions and receipts.

Can we use a phone and a computer?

Yes. The same account works on the web, iPhone and Android. Start your trial here, then sign in to the app.

Does it replace an accountant?

No. It organizes records and reports for your board and accounting professional to review.
